We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations (GDPR) and this privacy policy.

2. Collection of Data (Waitlist)

When you join our early access waitlist, we collect the email address you provide. This data is processed based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) exclusively for the purpose of keeping you informed about the development, launch, and early-access opportunities regarding the COI application.

3. Data Storage & Third-Party Processors

Your data is securely stored. We use Google Firebase (provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to host this website and store our waitlist database securely. Firebase complies with the GDPR and uses strict security measures to protect your information.

4. No Data Sharing

We will never sell, rent, or distribute your email address to unauthorized third parties. Your data remains strictly within the COI project for the purposes outlined above.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request information about your stored personal data at any time. You also have the right to request the correction, restriction, or deletion of this data. If you wish to be removed from our waitlist and have your data deleted, simply send an email to our contact address.

6. Account Deletion & Data Removal

You can permanently delete your COI account and all associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account in the app:

  1. Open the COI app and go to your Profile tab.
  2. Tap the Settings icon (top right).
  3. Scroll to "Account" and tap "Delete Account".
  4. Confirm — your account and all data will be permanently removed.

If you no longer have access to the app, email us at office@connectintentions.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process it within 7 business days.

What gets deleted immediately:

  • Profile (name, bio, photo)
  • All Intents, Memories, connections and location data
  • Authentication credentials

What may be retained:

  • Moderation & safety records: up to 90 days
  • Anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data
  • Data required by applicable law

All remaining personal data is deleted within 30 days.

7. Child Safety Standards

COI is committed to maintaining a safe platform and has a zero-tolerance policy toward any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Our commitments:

  • COI is intended for users aged 18 and older. Users under 18 are not permitted to use the platform.
  • Any content that sexually exploits minors is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination.
  • We comply with all applicable laws regarding child protection and report any identified CSAM to the relevant national and regional authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.
  • COI's in-app reporting system allows any user to flag inappropriate content or behavior directly within the app.
